The UK opposes Israel's approval of the E1 settlement plan. This was stated by British Foreign Secretary David Lammy on the social network X (ex. Twitter).

"If implemented, the Palestinian State will split in two, which will be a blatant violation of international law and seriously undermine the principle of two—State coexistence. The Israeli government must reverse this decision," Lammy wrote.

The E1 settlement plan is Israel's plan to develop a plot of land with an area of about 12 square kilometers, located between the eastern part of Jerusalem and the Arab city of El-Ezaria on the West Bank of the Jordan River.

Earlier, on August 20, Israel approved an operation to capture the city of Gaza, it was called "Gideon's Chariots 2." It is noted that the mobilization of the military reserve in Israel will begin soon.
