A storm warning was announced in Primorsky Krai.

Forecasters warned of adverse weather conditions in Primorsky Krai at the end of the working week. A storm warning has been issued due to the rains.

According to the PrimaMedia news agency, an active atmospheric front is expected to pass on August 22. Precipitation of varying intensity will occur in most areas, thunderstorms and hail with gusty winds are possible in some places.

On the rivers, the water rise will be 30-100 cm, in the basin of the Ussuri River and small rivers of the eastern coast — up to 1.5 m. In some places, flooding of low-lying areas and increased storm runoff is likely.

Rescuers recommend that residents of Primorye refrain from traveling outside settlements and fishing.

Heavy rains are expected in the Amur region from 22 to 24 August.
