The construction of the main monolithic structures has begun at the Linden Grove station of the Rublyovo-Arkhangelskaya metro line. This was announced on Wednesday, August 20, by Vladimir Yefimov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Urban Planning and Construction.

The station is being built at a depth of 24 meters outside the MKAD. Excavation work has been completed: almost 150 thousand cubic meters of soil have been removed, the website says. kp.ru . In addition to the platform and mounting chambers, the project provides for revolving dead ends for trains, Moscow 24 reports.

Maxim Gaman, General Director of Mosinzhproekt, noted that an anchor method was used to enclose the excavation using tongue-and-groove walls with a length of 22-30 m. This made it possible to complete the work in one stage, reduce deadlines and reduce labor costs, writes NSN. He added that this technology was made possible due to the remote location of the station, since long anchors in the city center could damage underground utilities, RIAMO notes.

At the end of July, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin and Moscow Region Governor Andrei Vorobyov launched the construction of a double-track tunnel from the Linden Grove station to Strogino station on the Rublevo-Arkhangelskaya line. The mayor stressed that there are two metro stations in the Moscow Region (Myakinino and Kotelniki), therefore Linden Grove will become the third metro station located in the Moscow region, the Moscow City News agency reports.
