Azerbaijan and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) will not participate in the Intervision contest, which will be held in Russia in September. This was reported by the Azerbaijani Report agency on August 20.

"Azerbaijan will not participate in the Intervision in Russia," the publication says.

According to the agency, the UAE will also miss the song contest. The reason was internal circumstances and lack of time for preparation, the Report added.
