In the Belgorod region, two people were injured in attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was announced on August 20 by the governor of the region Vyacheslav Gladkov.

"Five municipalities have been attacked by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. A civilian and a self—defense fighter were injured," he said on the Telegram channel.

In the Valuysky district, as a result of the shelling of the village of Borki, a self-defense fighter was injured. He was taken to Valuyskaya CRH, where he received medical care, and he will continue his treatment on an outpatient basis.

"In the village of Bochkovka, Belgorod region, a drone attacked a private house. The man in the house was injured in the abdomen. The NSR team is delivering the victim to the regional clinical hospital," Gladkov added.

On the same day, a civilian was injured in the village of Novostroevka-Pervaya in the Belgorod region as a result of an FPV drone strike on a car. It is noted that the man suffered a mine explosion injury, as well as multiple shrapnel wounds to his face, chest, arms and legs.
