Rosaviatsia has cancelled the certificate of the Angara Aviation Training Center. This was announced on August 20 by the press service of the department.

"The decision was made following an unscheduled inspection of the carrier for compliance with the requirements of federal aviation regulations governing the activities of organizations that train aviation personnel," the publication says.

It is specified that the airline's center trained flight mechanics and maintenance specialists for Mi-8 helicopters and An-24/26 aircraft.

The violations were revealed during the training of aviation specialists. The press service of the department emphasizes that now Angara needs to use the services of third-party certified AUCs.

Earlier, on August 18, an An-24 aircraft from Angara, carrying 40 passengers, rolled off the runway at Tyumen airport. According to preliminary data, the cause of the accident was technical problems in the braking system of the aircraft.

On July 24, an An-24 aircraft of Angara Airlines crashed in the Amur region, 15 km from the city of Tynda. Communication with the aircraft was lost during the flight on the Khabarovsk – Blagoveshchensk – Tynda route. Later, his burning fuselage was found on the ground. All passengers and crew members were killed.

Izvestia reported that the aviation authorities had maintenance claims against Angara. According to a source familiar with the situation, earlier the airline planned to revoke the certificate of the aircraft maintenance organization.

All important news is on the Izvestia channel in the MAX messenger.
