A new walking area will appear in Tobolsk

A new 260-meter-long walking area will appear in Tobolsk. The embankment will connect the Market Square with the river bank and a concert hall under construction, the press service of the government of the Tyumen region reports.

The landscaping area has already been visited by Deputy Governor Pavel Perevalov, Mayor Peter Vagin and head of the regional Housing and Communal Services Department Semyon Tegentsev. The officials discussed improvements to the project of the future public space.

"Tobolsk has a unique landscape with access to the river. This gift of nature must be used," said Perevalov, quoted by the news agency " <url>".

Pedestrian paths, flower beds, lighting, benches and small architectural forms will be installed on the embankment. The territory will become part of a single tourist route. When developing the project, the terrain features were taken into account, which will maximize the adaptation of the space for recreation of residents and guests of the city.
