NMG Film Distribution presents the official teaser trailer for the action movie "Alter"

The NMG Film Distribution company (part of the National Media Group holding) presents the official teaser trailer for the fantastic action movie "Alter". The main role in the film was played by Tom Felton. The iconic actor, known for his role as Draco Malfoy in the Harry Potter film series, returns to the screen in an unexpected role as designer—inventor Leon, who lives in a world where genetic improvements have become the norm and ordinary people are outcasts. "Alter" will be released on big screens on September 18.

The plot takes the viewer to an alternate reality, where humanity has relied not on technology, but on genetic modifications. People without improvements — the "special ones" — are forced to survive in slums and are deprived of equal rights. Leon, confined to a wheelchair, develops an exoskeleton to stand up for the "special ones" and uncover a conspiracy that threatens to destroy everything human in humans.

Director Timo Vuorenzola ("Iron Sky") calls Felton the ideal choice for the lead role: "Tom is an incredibly strong actor, whom I've been a fan of since the Harry Potter films, but his recent work has finally convinced me of his versatility and depth. He has everything I needed for a leading role–humor, strength, vulnerability and charisma."

In addition to Felton, Russian film star Igor Zizhikin ("Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull", "Major"), as well as Richard Brake from "Game of Thrones" starred in the film.

Filming took place in Kazakhstan, so the cast includes actors from different countries. In addition to superstars, the screen will feature aspiring Russian actress Elizaveta Bugulova as Chloe, a brilliant teenager who dreams of changing the world, as well as Aggie K. Adams as pop diva Mira, torn between fame and personal beliefs.

"Alter" is an intensely social sci—fi with driving action and visual audacity. The world of the film, inspired by the classics — "Blade Runner", "Gattaca", "District No. 9" — captures from the first frames. The fusion of cyberpunk, retrofuturism, and Soviet constructivism creates an atmosphere of an unsettling but recognizable future. A special role is given to Leon's visual effects and biomechanical costume, powered by mysterious organic energy.
