The number of electric vehicles in Russia has been calculated
As of the beginning of July, there were 65.2 thousand electric vehicles in Russia. Sergey Tselikov, director of the Autostat analytical agency, told about this in his Telegram channel.
Since the beginning of the year, the increase in the number of electric cars has amounted to 5.6 thousand units (+9.4%), of which 4.4 thousand cars were sold as new, the rest were used. Now the share of electric cars from the total fleet of passenger cars in the Russian Federation is 0.14%.
In the rating of brands by the volume of the fleet of electric cars in the Russian Federation, Nissan leads with 17.5 thousand units, followed by Zeekr (12.6 thousand units), Tesla (7.1 thousand units), Evolve (3.8 thousand units), Volkswagen (3.7 thousand units) and Moskvich (2.7 thousand units).
The most common electric car model in the country is the Nissan Leaf (17.3 thousand units). 95% of the "Lifs" have the right steering wheel. Among electric cars with a left—hand drive, the most popular model is the Zeekr 001 (8,700 units), which ranks second in the overall rating.
The top ten was completed by the Tesla Model 3, Moskvich 3e, Evolve i-Pro, Volkswagen ID.4, Tesla Model Y, Zeekr X, Porsche Taycan and Zeekr 009.
Earlier, on August 18, it was reported that Russia's largest charging hubs for electric vehicles will be built on the M-11 Neva, and they will start operating in 2026. In the future, six similar complexes will appear on the highway.
