Statements by the head of European diplomacy, Kai Kallas, about distrust of agreements with Russia demonstrate the degradation of the foreign policy methods of the European Union (EU). This was announced on August 20 by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.

"This is not diplomacy, this is already the degradation of foreign policy methods, which, in fact, the European Union boils down exclusively to sanctions," the minister said.

He added that there is a conscious continuation of the confrontational line on the part of the EU.
