The Russian hacker group KillNet, having hacked the database of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), gained access to information about 1.7 million dead and missing Ukrainian servicemen.
A representative of the organization confirmed the hacking of the database to RIA Novosti on August 20. In addition, the group also received photographs of the dead soldiers, their passports, military tickets, and death certificates. It is specified that the hacking was carried out through the computer of the head of the logistics department.
