A monument to Daria Dugina, who died in 2022 during an assassination attempt on her father, the philosopher Alexander Dugin, was unveiled in the Zakharovo Park of the Odintsovo City District in the Moscow region. This was reported on August 20 by a correspondent of Izvestia.

The monument is made of bronze and reaches a height of 3.5 m. He represents the figure of Dugina, holding a book in her hands. The opening ceremony was attended by Daria's mother Natalia Melentyeva, the head of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) Denis Pushilin, the head of Odintsovo Andrey Ivanov, the director of the Russia Today media group Dmitry Kiselyov and others. A minute of silence was observed in memory of Dugina.

Daria Dugina died in an explosion on the evening of August 20, 2022 in the Moscow region. She was driving from the Tradition Literary and music festival when an explosive device went off in her car. Criminologists found out that the bomb was under the bottom of the car from the driver's seat, it was activated remotely.

According to investigators, the target was not Dugina herself, but her father, the philosopher Alexander Dugin. They were going to travel in the same car, but at the last moment he decided to change seats.

Natalia Vovk, a citizen of Ukraine, turned out to be the perpetrator of the murder. The day after the crime, she left for Estonia through the Pskov region. The Basmanny Court of Moscow arrested her in absentia on November 2.
