FC Spartak was fined 120 thousand rubles for offensive language of fans
Spartak Moscow football club (FC) was fined 120 thousand rubles, including for fans chanting offensive language during the fifth round match of the Russian Premier League (RPL) against Zenit St. Petersburg. This was announced to journalists on August 20 by the head of the committee, Artur Grigoryants.
According to TASS, the club is obliged to pay 100,000 rubles for the offensive language that was uttered by the fans, and another 20,000 rubles for the failure to attend the post-match press conference of the team's head coach Deyan Stankovich. At that time, his assistant Nenad Sakic answered questions from journalists.
In addition, following the results of the last match, the Control and Disciplinary Committee of the Russian Football Union (RFU KDK) fined Zenit 15 thousand rubles for chanting profanity by fans.
