The interrogation of the surviving GUR saboteurs detained in the Bryansk region was filmed

The FSB of Russia has published footage of the interrogation of Ukrainian saboteurs detained in the Bryansk region, who were preparing terrorist attacks on the territory of the Russian Federation.

The published videos show how the detainees, at the request of the security forces, give their full names and place of service — the 3rd regiment of the Special Operations Forces. Seized weapons and special equipment are also on display.

The Sabotage and Reconnaissance Group (DRG) consisted of personnel from the special Operations Service, supervised by the Main Directorate of Intelligence (GUR) of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, and was trained with the participation of Western intelligence services in Lithuania, Estonia and Norway.

Six American assault rifles with silencers, 16 kg of Czech-made explosives, grenades, cartridges and a radio station for communication with the leadership of the GUR were seized from the detainees. Terrorist attacks were planned on Russian transport infrastructure facilities.

The suppression of the activities of a sabotage group in the Bryansk region was reported earlier that day. The Investigative Department of the Federal Security Service for the Bryansk region opened a criminal case under Part 1 of Article 30, paragraph "a" of part 2 of Article 281 ("Preparation for sabotage") The Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
