The premiere of the crime comedy "Gel", in which a trucker embarks on an adventure with overtaking a premium SUV, will be held in cinemas on August 21. The film was created with the participation of the REN TV channel.

The plot of the crime comedy tells about the hero San, who must drive a stolen Gelandewagen to Vyborg in the company of another hero, the kind policeman Orekhov. The second one needs to find out the name of the customer, the first one needs to get the job done as soon as possible and be in time for his wife to give birth. The main characters in the film were played by Ilya Malakov, Daria Melnikova and Anna Arefyeva. The director was Stas Ivanov, who created the TV series "JUZZZ" and "High Season".

"I actually started driving after this project. The stakes were so high that after we finished the project, I first used carsharing, then I bought my own bag," Malakov said.

Actress Daria Melnikova played Sanya's pregnant wife, who believed that her husband would be in time for the birth and, fortunately, did not know which bandits he had contacted, and Anna Arefyeva played a girl named Asya, who finds herself in the path of two reluctant partners with guns in her hands.

"A girl comes out with a stick of gum and a gun. I've been practicing, of course. We also had auditions at Lenfilm. I'm small, I'm wearing heels right now. I weighed 50 kg. I was just like that, back there," recalls Arefieva.

According to film critic Nikolai Nikulin, such a film needs to be watched on a big screen in order to experience the excitement of the characters' adventures.
