Two civilians were injured during the Ukrainian Armed Forces attack on the Kherson region

As a result of an attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) using an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) on the urban-type settlement of Novaya Mayachka in the Kherson region, two civilians were injured. This was announced on August 20 by the governor of the region, Vladimir Saldo.

"Two men were injured in the village of Novaya Mayachka as a result of an explosion of ammunition dropped from a drone," he wrote on the Telegram channel.

According to Saldo, they were taken to the hospital with shrapnel wounds. The governor added that in the Alyoshka district, a Ukrainian drone dropped four munitions on the apartment building of the head of one of the territorial departments. As a result of the attack, buildings and a car were damaged, no one was injured.

In addition, the Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked the village of Podo-Kalinovka, the town of Novaya Kakhovka, as well as Alyoshkinsky, Kakhovsky, Golopristan and Novokakhovsky districts. There were six fires of dry vegetation with a total area of about 3.5 hectares. Baldo stressed that they had been eliminated.

On August 19, Vyacheslav Gladkov, Governor of the Belgorod Region, reported that two civilians were injured as a result of an attack by the Ukrainian military using UAVs on a temple and agricultural machinery. According to him, the woman who was on the territory received lacerations and shrapnel wounds to her face, she was hospitalized. The other victim suffered barotrauma, as well as multiple shrapnel wounds to the chest, abdomen and back. He was also taken to the hospital.
