In Moscow, a man was arrested in a case of treason

The Meshchansky District Court of Moscow has ordered the detention of a Russian man with the surname Paramonov in a case of high treason. This is evidenced by the data of the judicial file.

"The decision to grant the petition for the election of a preventive measure in the form of detention has been satisfied," the case file says.

There are no other details about the investigation and the circumstances of the case. It is specified that the decision comes into force on August 22.

The day before, law enforcement agencies detained a local resident in the Luhansk People's Republic (LNR) who was creating explosive devices for terrorist attacks and passing information about the Russian military to the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU). A criminal case was opened against the man for treason, as well as illegal possession and manufacture of explosive devices.
