Electricity supply in the Zaporizhia region has been restored

Electricity supply has been restored throughout the territory of the Zaporizhia region after an attack by an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was announced on Wednesday, August 20, by the governor of the region Evgeny Balitsky.

"The power supply has been fully restored throughout the territory of the Zaporizhia region," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

The head of the Zaporizhia region thanked the power engineers for their prompt work.

Due to UAV attacks, more than 190 settlements were left without power, water and communications.

The electricity supply in the Zaporizhia region was turned off the day before. It was clarified that the reason for the power outage in the Zaporozhye region was an attack by an APU drone. The restoration work was carried out despite the danger of repeated impacts and the darkness.
