American billionaire Elon Musk has suspended the process of creating a new party in the United States due to fears that the new political force will win over the votes of supporters of the Republican Party. This was reported on August 19 by The Wall Street Journal (WSJ). with reference to sources.

"Musk told his allies that he wants to focus on his companies and does not want to alienate influential Republicans by creating a third party that can win over Republican votes," the publication says.

According to the newspaper, the entrepreneur is currently "slowly slowing down" his political plans to create his own party.

On June 30, Musk, criticizing US President Donald Trump's bill to increase government spending, proposed creating a new political party in the country that would take care of the country's population.

On July 5, the billionaire announced the formation of a new political party in the United States called America. Later, on July 6, the entrepreneur's application for registration was published in the register of the US Federal Election Commission (FEC).
