On the 2018 km of the Kolyma federal highway in the Magadan region, a passenger car crashed into a light pole, resulting in an accident that killed one person and injured three. This was announced on August 20 by the State Traffic Inspectorate for the region in its Telegram channel.

"It was previously established that the 23-year-old driver of the Mazda Capella car lost control and hit a light pole. A 21-year-old passenger was killed in a road accident in a foreign car. The driver and two other passengers were injured," the report said.
