Fines may be imposed on heat supply and heating grid organizations that did not fix the defects in time before the heating period. Such a bill was approved by the Cabinet of Ministers on July 19, Izvestia found out.

The bill proposes to amend the article of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation, supplementing it with new elements of an administrative offense, said Vladimir Gruzdev, Chairman of the Board of the Association of Lawyers of Russia.

"The article will be supplemented with new compositions, such as: failure by heat supply organizations to eliminate the violations identified in the act containing an assessment of readiness for the heating period on time, for which a fine of 2 to 4 thousand rubles will be imposed," he explained.

For non—elimination of violations by consumers or management organizations, citizens will face a warning or fine in the amount of 500 rubles, officials — from 2 to 4 thousand rubles, and legal entities - from 5 thousand to 10 thousand rubles.

It is also specified that administrative responsibility for officials will occur for violating the deadline for submitting heat supply schemes to settlements, municipal and urban districts for approval by the Ministry of Energy, as well as for not posting information about the venue of public hearings or the protocol on the results of their holding within the prescribed period.
