- The Serbian parliament spoke about the possible aggravation of the situation in the country
In September, the situation in Serbia is expected to further worsen, with severe roadblocks and buildings continuing, as well as attacks on the offices of the ruling party, Dragan Stanojevic, head of the parliament's committee on Diaspora and Serbs in the region, told Izvestia.
"Unfortunately, the decisions that the current government is making do not reassure people. Moreover, many of them are erroneous," the deputy told Izvestia.
According to Stanojevic, a split within the Serbian state system is also possible, because there are many dissatisfied people in it.
"I don't think there will be any early elections yet. If there is anything, it may be by the end of this year. Although I doubt it too. The only thing that can lead to early elections this year is an aggravation of the situation to such an extent that it gets out of control," the parliamentarian stressed.
Mass riots continue in Serbia, with opposition supporters attacking the offices of the ruling Serbian Progressive Party.
