Iran, Russia and China discussed the countries' cooperation with Britain, France and Germany on the nuclear deal. This was announced on August 19 by Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister for Legal and International Affairs Kazem Gharibabadi.

"During the meeting with the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China and the Charge d'affaires of the Russian Federation, joint measures to counter the destructive approach of the three European governments to UN Security Council Resolution 2231 were discussed and discussed," he wrote on the social network X.

Gharibabadi noted that as a result of the negotiations, the countries came to the conclusion that the UN Security Council resolution 2231 was illegal.

"All three countries believe that resolution 2231 should be terminated within the prescribed period, and that these countries have no legitimate right to recourse," the Iranian Deputy Foreign minister explained.

Earlier, on August 13, France, Great Britain and Germany expressed their readiness to re-impose sanctions against Iran if the Islamic Republic does not resume negotiations with the international community on its nuclear doctrine. It is clarified that the Iranian side did not respond in any way to the message about a possible extension of restrictions. It is reported that the new sanctions for a limited period will be able to provide more time for negotiations aimed at concluding a nuclear agreement.
