The White House announced a discussion of options for a meeting place between Putin and Zelensky.

The United States is discussing with Ukraine and Russia a variety of possible venues for a meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky, White House spokeswoman Carolyn Leavitt said at a press briefing.

"I can tell you that our national security team is currently discussing many options with both sides," the White House spokeswoman said.

When asked by a journalist about holding talks between the leaders of the three countries in Moscow, Leavitt refused to answer, citing the private nature of the discussions.
