A new walking area has appeared in Mozhaisk district near Belovezhsky Pond. It was opened by Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin on Tuesday, August 19.
During a meeting with residents of Mozhaisk district, the official spoke about the development of the territory. He noted that new highways have appeared here, a Large Ring metro line is operating, a polyclinic has been reconstructed, and work has begun in schools.

16 hectares of territory have been landscaped in the renovated walking area near Belovezhsky Pond: paths have been put in order, 220 lanterns, more than 300 benches and swings have been installed, playgrounds, exercise equipment, a running track and an event stage have been set up. Additionally, over 4 hectares of lawns have been created, and 90 trees will be planted in the fall, the Moscow City News Agency reports.
The mayor's office stressed that this is one of more than 3.2 thousand landscaping projects in 2025, of which about 2 thousand have already been completed, Moscow 24 writes.
