In the village of Trekhprudnoye in the Republic of Crimea, where dead wood caught fire, rescuers localized the fire on an area of 26 hectares. This was reported on August 19 in the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation.
"The fire in the village of Trekhprudnoye, Simferopol district, is localized on an area of 26 hectares," the ministry said in a statement.
At the moment, the staff of the Ministry of Emergency Situations extinguish smoldering fires.
Earlier, the press service of the department reported on the Telegram channel that an airmobile group of rescuers was involved in the village of Trekhprudnoye due to the fire and water supply was organized. Back then, extinguishing was complicated by the heat and windy weather.
On the same day, 11 people were injured in a wildfire in the Stanichno-Lugansky district of the Luhansk People's Republic (LNR). It was clarified that the flames engulfed 130 hectares, 60 people were evacuated. 47 pieces of equipment were used to prevent the fire.
