At an online meeting of the coalition of the willing, the leaders of the countries spoke about the need to support Ukraine in the future. This was announced on August 19 by Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk on the social network X (former. Twitter).

He noted that the leaders of Canada, Japan, Turkey, New Zealand and European countries appreciated the results of the meeting between US Presidents Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin in Alaska.

"We have all confirmed the need to continue supporting Ukraine in its <conflict> with Russia," the Prime Minister wrote.

The talks between Putin and Trump took place on August 15 at the American military base Elmendorf-Richardson in Anchorage, Alaska, and lasted 2 hours and 45 minutes. Trump, in turn, shared that the negotiations went very well and called the summit in Alaska wonderful.
