Most U.S. citizens consider Russian President Vladimir Putin to be a strong leader to one degree or another. This became known on August 19 from the results of a study by the Economist magazine and YouGov.
The study was conducted between August 15 and 18 among 1,568 U.S. adults. The margin of error is 3.5%.
According to the results of the survey, 32% of respondents consider Putin to be a very strong leader, 41% think that the Russian president is to some extent a strong leader.
