As part of the Moscow 2030 Forum, the first international forum "Unmanned Systems: Technologies of the Future" was held at the Skolkovo Innovation Center from August 7 to 17. It was held on behalf of the President of Russia.

The international Forum "Unmanned Systems: Technologies of the Future" brought together more than 260 thousand people, including leading experts, developers, manufacturers and exporters from more than 60 countries around the world. This large-scale event has become a platform for the exchange of advanced knowledge, innovative ideas and best practices in the field of unmanned technologies. The latest achievements in the field of robotics, automation and artificial intelligence were presented at the forum. The event was a vivid example of how Russia is actively implementing advanced technologies," said Kristina Kostroma, Head of the Department of Entrepreneurship and Innovative Development in Moscow.

Part of the large-scale event was the Archipelago design and educational intensive, national competitions with the participation of foreign athletes, the Moscow Mayor's Cup in drone racing, as well as a business program during which topical industry issues were discussed. In addition, the guests visited the exhibition of the latest achievements in the field of unmanned systems, took part in workshops on drone control and visited the store of the future.

At the exhibition of unmanned systems, special attention was paid to the exposition of robotic systems, which featured more than 700 high-tech exhibits from 24 regions of Russia. The exhibition area was 10,000 square meters and demonstrated the capabilities of unmanned technologies, from harvesting systems to devices for automating trading processes. More than 300 companies presented examples of the use of unmanned systems in eight key sectors of the economy.

The business program included 43 sessions with the participation of 264 experts from Russia, Belarus, China, India, Chile and Ethiopia. The event was attended by over three thousand people. The Forum has become a platform for strengthening international relations in the field of innovative technologies, bringing together experts from dozens of countries.

At the forum, 22 agreements and five memorandums of cooperation were signed between leading Russian organizations, innovative companies and international partners. Special importance is attached to international cooperation, which is confirmed by the agreements of the Moscow Export Center with partners from Chile, Ethiopia and Turkey.

The highlight of the forum was the Moscow Mayor's Drone Racing Cup, the first official international competition of its kind in Russia. The best pilots from 11 countries took part in it: Russia, Australia, Belarus, Bulgaria, Germany, India, Kazakhstan, Spain, South Korea, Turkey and France.

In addition to the face-to-face races, virtual competitions were held in the individual and team competitions of the Technical Simulator discipline. The competitions were held in different age categories — from juniors (10-17 years old) up to adult participants.

One of the key events of the forum was the Archipelago 2025 design and educational intensive. More than 3,500 people from 82 regions of Russia and 20 countries of the world took part in it. The most spectacular part was the drone engineering competition. In 10 days, 52 competitions were held on the site with the participation of more than a thousand people. The drones made about 2.5 thousand flights, and the total flight time, taking into account the simulators, was about 300 hours. This figure exceeded last year's by 2.5 times: in 2024, drones flew about 120 hours at the Fluffy airfield in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk.

Master classes on modern technologies were also organized for the forum participants. Guests could play drone basketball and drone soccer, use the services of a delivery drone, or control sports drones in a virtual environment. More than six thousand people took part in the events.

In addition, over 1.5 million rubles worth of local brand goods were sold during the four days of operation of the store of the Future, which presented the "Made in Moscow" project. The store was visited by more than 13 thousand people.

"The territory of the future. Moscow 2030" is a citywide opportunity to get to know the future by trying out its technologies, which are already being used in the capital. Children and adults can interact with robots and artificial intelligence, look at the work of modern unmanned vehicles, play on high-tech sports grounds, explore educational, medical and industrial innovations, immerse themselves in VR space and much more.
