Lavrov commented on Rubio's words about paying for fuel in Alaska in cash.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, commenting on the words of US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, said on August 19 that it did not matter how fuel was paid for in Alaska.

"You always have to pay for fuel. In cash or not, it doesn't matter. These are expenses that are always borne by a country whose leadership visits another state with a corresponding delegation," the Russian Foreign Minister said in an interview with Rossiya-24 TV channel.
