- Lviv-Belova Ombudsman: schools will limit the number of control sessions from September 1
Starting from September 1, several innovations will be introduced in Russian schools. They were announced by Maria Lvova-Belova, the Presidential Commissioner for Children's Rights, in her Telegram channel.
So, among the changes is the introduction of the position of a specialist nurse in schools and the adjustment of standards for equipping school medical centers. In addition, tests, including All-Russian tests, will take no more than 10% of the study time in any subject.
The schedule for fifth and seventh grades will remove social studies and introduce the course "History of our region". Some schools will also begin to give grades for behavior, but this will happen in a pilot mode. Another innovation will be the opportunity for parents to be present at the exam points in order to control the exam conditions and protect the rights of students.
Earlier in the day, Russian President Vladimir Putin called the accessibility and quality of education the basis for the success of Russia's development. According to him, Russian pedagogy is characterized by a multifaceted and versatile approach. Putin also noted that in this regard, joint plans for the future should take into account the best traditions of the pre-revolutionary, Soviet and modern Russian schools.
