US President Donald Trump has said he wants to "go to heaven." The American leader made the corresponding statement on August 19 in an interview with Fox News channel.

"If I can save 7,000 people from death in a week, <...> I want to try to get to heaven, if possible," the President of the United States emphasized.

According to him, he was involved in saving many people and resolving the conflict between India and Pakistan, which could lead to a nuclear war.

Earlier, on August 15, following a meeting with the American leader, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that Trump was also seeking to resolve the conflict in Ukraine. He added that the Russian government sees the desire of the US administration to help resolve the Ukrainian crisis.

After the summit with the Russian president, Newsweek reported an increase in the approval rating of the American leader. It was clarified that Trump's net approval rating of +10% is more than in the last July survey of the publication.
