Two people were injured during the Ukrainian Armed Forces attack on the Belgorod region

As a result of an attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) using unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) on a temple and agricultural machinery in the Belgorod region, two civilians were injured. This was announced on August 19 by the governor of the region Vyacheslav Gladkov.

"In the village of Novaya Tavolzhanka in the Shebekinsky district, a drone attacked the Church of the Intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Two civilians were injured as a result of strikes by the Ukrainian Armed Forces," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

According to Gladkov, the woman who was on the territory received lacerations and shrapnel wounds to her face. The victim was hospitalized, and she is currently receiving all necessary medical care. It is specified that the ceiling, facade, glazing and porch were also damaged in the temple.

Gladkov added that the Ukrainian Armed Forces dropped an explosive device from a drone onto agricultural machinery in the village of Mokraya Orlovka, Grayvoronsky district. As a result of the impact, a man was injured, he received barotrauma, as well as multiple shrapnel wounds to the chest, abdomen and back.

It is noted that he was hospitalized, the victim's condition is assessed as serious.

On the same day, the Governor of the Zaporizhia region, Yevgeny Balitsky, reported that the Ukrainian Armed Forces had attacked the Zaporizhia region with drones, and two women were injured. It is specified that one of them received multiple shrapnel wounds, she was taken to the surgical department. The other injured woman is in stable condition, her injuries are not life-threatening.
