The register of masters of folk crafts will be created in Stavropol

A regional register of craftsmen will be created in the Stavropol Territory. The decree of the regional government with such a decision is published on the portal of legal information.

The creation of the list became known last year in 2024. Then the deputies of the regional Duma amended the regional law "On certain issues in the field of culture."

The regional Ministry of Industry will develop the website. Information about the masters will be made publicly available. The card will contain information about the place of folk art in the region, in the traditions of which the works are made.

According to IA SevastopolMedia, in order to be included in the register, the master needs to register as an entrepreneur. The decision on inclusion in the list will be made by the artistic expert council.
