A 22-year-old man who jumped from a pier drowned in Sevastopol.

A young man born in 2003 drowned near Victory Beach in Sevastopol. This was announced on Tuesday, August 19, according to the press service of the regional Ministry of Emergency Situations.

The tragedy happened the night before. According to preliminary information, the guy jumped from the pier, but did not come to the surface. The causes of the incident are being established.

As noted by IA SevastopolMedia, this is the second victim of the current bathing season. The first one was found off the wild coast near Cape Fiolent at a depth of five meters.
