"Conversations about important things" will be tested in kindergartens in 22 regions in the fall. This was announced on August 19 on the website of the Ministry of Education of Russia.

"In September – November 2025, it is planned to test the project "Conversations about important things" for preschool educational organizations. Educators will take part in methodological seminars, after which they will begin working with materials prepared by specialists of the Institute for the Study of Childhood, Family and Upbringing subordinate to the Ministry of Education of Russia," the material says.

The testing of the preschool education project will start in 22 regions, including the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics, the Chukotka Autonomous Okrug, the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, the Perm Territory, the Zaporizhia Region and 15 other subjects of the Russian Federation. The project involves 100 kindergartens, classes are designed for children from three to seven years old.

On August 13, it became known that the Russian Ministry of Education has developed recommendations for optimizing the educational burden for schoolchildren, which include lesson schedules for grades 1-11 in the 2025/26 academic year. The recommendations include five timetable options for primary general education (grades 1-4), six options for basic general education (grades 5-9), and 19 options for secondary general education (grades 10-11).
