Two women were injured as a result of the Ukrainian Armed Forces attack on the Zaporizhia region

The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) attacked the Zaporizhia region with the help of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), as a result of which two women were injured. This was announced on August 19 by the governor of the region Evgeny Balitsky.

"Two women, born in 1961 and 1953, were injured in an attack by an enemy UAV in the Vasilyevsky municipal District," he wrote on the Telegram channel.

According to Balitsky, at the time of the attack, the women were in the courtyard of their house in the village of Podgornoye. It is specified that one of them received multiple shrapnel wounds, she was taken to the surgical department. The victim is currently receiving medical assistance.

The governor added that the other woman is in stable condition, her injuries are not life-threatening.

On the same day, the administration of the Kherson region reported that a civilian was injured as a result of a drone attack by the Ukrainian military on the Gornostaevsky district. It is specified that the tractor of the municipal enterprise was also damaged.
