Gorky Park hosted the launch of the first cinema track in Moscow
On August 17, Gorky Park hosted the launch of the first Moscow Cinema Track, a unique mobile open—air cinema. The project is part of the program of the Moscow International Film Week, which will be held in the capital from August 23 to 27.
In the afternoon, a large two-sided screen built directly into the back of the cinema truck unfolded for the audience at the central fountain in Gorky Park. On soft poufs and sun beds, citizens and guests of the capital were able to watch the family blockbuster "Palm 2" and the legendary film "Moscow does not believe in tears" from both sides of the cinema.
The launch of the cinema track was personally led by Georgy Prokopov, Director General of ANO Moskino: "Today we are launching a cinema track that will run around the city on the eve of the Moscow International Film Week. This is an opportunity to see movies not only at home or in cinemas, but also right on the streets, in parks and urban spaces. We want cinema to become a part of everyday urban life, so that it can be watched with friends, children, and shared impressions and emotions."
The event gathered more than three hundred spectators. They settled down not only on pre—prepared poufs, but also on park benches, as the sound was well tuned, and the picture was visible from afar on both sides of the cinema.
The first film shown at the cinema track was the family blockbuster "Palm 2". He was personally introduced by the film's director, Vladimir Kandaurov.: "I am very glad that it is the film "Palm 2" that opens the screenings at the Moscow Film Festival. This is a very interesting, necessary and cool initiative when viewers have the opportunity to watch movies on a big screen, especially at a time when content is consumed primarily on the phone. The format is non—standard, because we usually watch movies in the dark, but here - under the sun and sky. But the screen is bright, the picture is perfectly visible, and I'm glad that so many viewers have gathered. I hope they won't be disappointed."
The cinema track will become a mobile cinema in Moscow. From August 17 to August 27, he will visit more than 10 iconic venues of the capital, including Krasnaya Presnya Park, Moskino Film Park, N'ICE LOFT business class complex, Pervy Nagatinsky residential Complex, Food Hall Park, Three Stations Food Mall. Depot" and others.
In total, more than 30 paintings from Russia, Italy, France, the USA, Germany, Serbia and other countries will be presented to the audience. The repertoire includes cult films "Jeanne Dubarry", "Dracula", "One hundred years ahead", "The Serf", "World Champion", "Moscow does not believe in tears", "Legend No. 17" and others.
