- The Russian government will allocate over 200 million rubles to the Belgorod and Kursk regions
The Russian government will allocate over 200 million rubles in aid to the Belgorod and Kursk regions. The funds will be used to pay for residents and support organizations providing housing and communal services. This was reported on August 19 in the government's Telegram channel.
"Of the total amount, more than 60 million rubles are intended for payments to residents of the Belgorod region who have completely lost essential property. The amount of payments will amount to more than 156 thousand rubles per person," the message says.
The Kursk region has been allocated 150.5 million rubles. They are aimed at supporting at least 25 organizations involved in the provision of housing and communal services.
The decision is due to the fact that since August 2024, charging for housing and communal services for residents of certain territories of the Kursk region has been suspended. With this assistance, regional organizations will be able to continue providing services to the public and businesses.
Earlier, on August 4, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin announced that the Russian government would allocate more than 40 million rubles to the Kursk region. He also stressed the importance of helping citizens and businesses where they work so that people who have lost their homes can return to normal life.
