A justice of the peace in Moscow decided to fine Russian Post for 230.6 million rubles after it was found that the state-owned enterprise violated the conditions for providing investments from the budget for the repair of post offices. This was announced on August 19 on the website of the Accounting Chamber.
The Russian Post informed TASS that they intend to appeal the decision in due course.
An administrative case has also been initiated following an inspection by the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation.
