An American journalist appreciated Zelensky's costume for a meeting at the White House

One of the journalists who attended the meeting of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky with US President Donald Trump and the heads of the European Union (EU) at the White House on August 18 appreciated the costume of the head of the Kiev regime.

"You look absolutely gorgeous in that suit," he told Zelensky.

The same journalist previously criticized Zelensky for choosing clothes during the February visit of the president of Ukraine to the White House. The media employee then apologized for his reaction.

Zelensky and Trump met at the White House on August 18. The closed-door talks lasted about 30 minutes. After that, Zelensky and Trump met with the leaders of the European Union countries.

The meeting was attended by European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz and French Leader Emmanuel Macron. Italian Prime Minister Giorgio Meloni and Finnish President Alexander Stubb were also present.

During the talks, Trump noted that in a week or two the prospects for resolving the Ukrainian conflict through negotiations would be clear. He also stressed that there are no "too complicated issues" in the Ukrainian settlement.
