Part of the Kolyma highway was blocked due to rains in the Magadan region
In the Magadan region, traffic was blocked on the 1116+220 km section of the Kolyma highway due to rains. This was announced on August 19 by the Ministry of Road Management and Transport in the region in the Telegram channel.
"The Ministry of Road Management and Transport of the Magadan Region announces the closure of the federal highway R-504 Kolyma at 1116+220 for all types of transport," the statement said.
It is noted that the decision was made due to the blurring of the roadway.
Earlier, on June 22, it was reported that in the Akhtyn district of Dagestan, after rains and rising water levels in the Akhtychai River, the support of a road cable bridge was washed away. The bridge is 144 m long and 3.5 m wide. Transport links have been suspended.
