People are often afraid to go to the dentist, despite various diseases, such as a cracked seal. About the danger of such a violation of the tooth structure, August 19, "Gazeta.Ru", said Olga Guseva, Associate Professor of the Department of Therapeutic Dentistry.

"Even a small microcrack between the tooth wall and the filling is a whole corridor for microorganisms, which in this case easily penetrate deeper into the tooth under its roots and cause periodontitis and periodontal disease," the doctor explained.

According to Guseva, this is due to the poor quality of the dentist's work in the area of the tooth root during nerve removal.

As the expert noted, inflammation can go unnoticed by a person for many years. However, this can lead to miscarriage, the development of myocarditis and arthritis.

If a crack is found in the tooth, it is necessary to consult a specialist, the associate professor advised.

Earlier, on August 4, dentist, maxillofacial surgeon Veronika Melekhova spoke about the dangers of fillings from marketplaces for dental treatment. According to the dentist, during the delivery of the filling, doctors remove caries and treat its complications, sometimes restoring the shape of the tooth with a filling. All this is done in sterile conditions, not to mention the constant disinfection of the treatment site. When a person tries to put a seal himself, he does not pay attention either to the tooth disease or to proper disinfection. In this regard, the tooth will continue to deteriorate, and further treatment will cost the potential patient more.
