In the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), three employees of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations were injured while extinguishing a fire. This was announced on August 18 in the press service of the main directorate (GU) of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in the region.
"In the Kuibyshev district of Donetsk, firefighters eliminated the ignition of dry vegetation. While extinguishing the fire, an ammunition detonation occurred," the department's Telegram channel says.
It is noted that three firefighters, including the commander, were taken to the hospital with acoustic barotrauma. They are currently undergoing outpatient treatment.
On July 24, one EMERCOM employee was killed and another injured while extinguishing a fire in a shopping center on Lenin Street in Novoshakhtinsk, Rostov region. It was noted that the injured EMERCOM employee was taken to the surgical department of the Central City Hospital with burns to his lower extremities.
