Tagansky court fined Google for violating information restrictions
The Tagansky court of Moscow fined Google 3.8 million rubles. This was announced on 18 by the press service of the capital's courts of general jurisdiction.
The court found the company guilty of violating restrictions on access to information.
"By a decision of the Tagansky District Court of Moscow, Google LLC was found guilty of committing an administrative offense under Part 2 of Article 13.41 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation," the press service's Telegram channel says.
Earlier, on July 8, the Tagansky Court of Moscow fined Google and Twitch. Twitch was fined 7 million rubles under Article 13.50 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation "Failure to perform duties by the owner of a social network."
Google was fined 3.8 million rubles under Article 13.41 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation "Violation of the procedure for restricting access to information, information resources, access to which is subject to restriction in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation on information, information technology and information protection, and (or) the procedure for deleting said information."
