Two electric bike drivers were killed in an accident with a heavy truck in the Volzhsky district of the Samara region. This was announced on August 18 by the press service of the Main Directorate (GU) of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the region.
"At the scene of the accident, the drivers, one of whom was born in 1982 (the identity of the second is being established), died before the ambulance arrived," the agency said in a statement posted on its Telegram channel.
According to him, the incident occurred on 3 km of the Kirovsky Bridge Crossing highway. It is specified that the driver of a heavy-duty vehicle born in 1975 violated the rules of location on the roadway and ran over two electric bike drivers who were standing on the side of the road.
Traffic police officers are working at the scene. The circumstances of the incident are being established.
Two people, a 24—year-old man and a 16-year-old teenager, were killed in an accident in Sochi in the village of Third Company, and seven others were injured. It is specified that the UAZ driver lost control at the rounding of the road, allowed the exit from the carriageway, after which the car overturned onto the road fence. The injured were hospitalized.
