Auto expert listed failed Toyota cars
There are frankly unsuccessful cars in the Toyota model range, one of them is the brand's first electric car, the bZ4x. This was announced on August 18 by auto expert Alexander Kovalev.
According to the expert, the Toyota bZ4x "turned out to be a resounding disappointment" and entered the market already outdated. In terms of power reserve and equipment, it was immediately inferior to its Korean and Chinese competitors. The fact that the bZ4x loses a lot of power when charging in cold weather has also been the subject of regular criticism.
"There are also iconic, but frankly age-old models like the Toyota Mark II on the avoid list. Once they used to assemble fan clubs, but today buying such a car is a lottery, where there is a high risk of running into a cut. At the same time, their price lists are stubbornly kept at a high level," the Rossiyskaya Gazeta quotes Kovalev.
Among the current gasoline Toyota, the expert criticized the Supra coupe and Sienna minivan. The Supra has become a controversial result of collaboration between Japanese and German engineers, and Sienna regularly receives negative feedback from American owners regarding reliability, he said.
Earlier, on July 18, it was reported that GAC would begin selling GS4 crossovers with all-wheel drive in Russia. The launch is scheduled for September this year. GAC representatives told Izvestia that the GS4 crossover is represented in a large segment, which previously had a Toyota RAV4 model, and many draw a parallel between it and the GS4.
