The son of the Crown Princess of Norway was charged with four rapes.
The Oslo Prosecutor's Office has charged the eldest son of Crown Princess of Norway, Mette-Marit Marius Borg Heibi, with 32 counts, four of which relate to rape. This was announced on August 18 by the Norwegian broadcasting company NRK.
"Crown Princess Mette-Marit's son has been charged with 32 different crimes. This includes four rapes of four different women, as well as violence against his former partner Nora Haukland. <...> The rapes occurred between 2018 and November 2024," the article says.
It is noted that the royal origin of the son of the Crown Princess does not provide grounds for commuting the sentence. According to NRK, he faces up to 10 years in prison on the charges.
On August 1, it was reported that a player of the French football club Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), Ashraf Hakimi, faces up to 15 years in prison for raping a girl. The incident occurred in February 2023. It was noted that the football player met the victim on social networks, then a month after the start of communication he met with her and committed violent acts.
