Forests are burning again in the Krasnoyarsk Territory

Forest fires were again recorded in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. At the moment, two foci are active in the Tunguska-Chunsky forestry. Their area is 26 hectares.

30 firefighters, 4 pieces of equipment, 19 aircraft are engaged in extinguishing, writes KrasnoyarskMedia news agency, noting that the situation is under control. There is no threat to the nearest settlements.

Earlier, on July 25, it was reported that the emergency regime in the forests was lifted in the region. The fire situation in the region has stabilized. The emergency mode has been in effect since July 13 due to dry and hot weather, as well as high thunderstorm activity.

The Aviation Security Service warned that in August, high risks of fires in forests are predicted in 41 regions of Russia. The development of the situation will depend not only on the weather, but also on compliance with safety rules in forests, experts recalled.
