Nutritionist Anton Polyakov told how old a child can eat chips, and warned about the impact of using this product on health in the future.

In conversation with aif.ru On August 17, the specialist noted that modern industrial chips contain many harmful chemical components, especially dangerous for teenagers. According to him, the later the child starts eating such food, the better, but it is optimal to refuse altogether.

The doctor warned that at a young age, chips can cause problems with the reproductive system for the future.: Men have an increased risk of decreased testosterone and erectile dysfunction, while women have fertility difficulties. In addition, regular consumption leads to obesity, diabetes and gastrointestinal diseases, which are increasingly common in young people.

The expert added that the flavor enhancers contained in the chips, such as glutamate, overload the nervous system and cause deterioration of memory, attention and emotional stability. As an alternative, he suggested nuts, dried fruits or chips made from natural ingredients.
